Position Title: Sales Representative, Commission-based

Job Summary: The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business leads and increasing sales for a new sign company in Stratford/Charlottetown area.

Start Date: Immediately
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Sales Representative who takes ownership of the role. A professional, can-do attitude, and knowledge of the sign manufacturing and service business is required to grow the business. Reporting to the owner, you will be responsible for prospecting and generating new business of small to medium accounts. Responsibilities include dealing with clients on a daily basis, estimating, and liaising with internal stakeholders including the Business Development Manager, Inside Customer Service Representative, production, and accounting representatives.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Establish and maintain profitable business-to-business relationships on behalf of the company
  • Actively prospect for new accounts to generate new business
  • Manage leads, sales appointments and order follow through by responding to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically, and in person
  • Present and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, and integrity to fulfill customer needs
  • Communicate effectively with Owner and production team updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met
  • Communicate regularly with Marketing Team to discuss ideas that could increase sales or improve branding of the company
  • Proactive involvement in the PEI business community networking groups
  • Prepare quotes by analyzing job requirements and previous jobs
  • Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships with constant follow up on sales activity

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience within the Sign Industry
  • Basic knowledge of sign and screen printing production
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Goal driven with a strong customer service attitude
  • Must have car and valid driver’s license
